So, who is Emma…
And why should we trust her with our travel experiences? Fair question, so here’s why you can place your trust in me:
- I studied travel & tourism at college for 4 years from the age of 16 – I am now 47 – that’s quite a while connected to the travel industry.
- I went on to work for a large tour operator, starting as a junior & working my way up to reservations.
- At the same company I also became training officer for all new intakes, training them on the in house systems & accompanying familiarisation trips (which there were lots and I loved it)
- I then went on to work in business travel & while doing this became a PA to a team of directors.
- I have worked for luxury tour operators in their European & Ski departments
- I taught travel & tourism to students age 16+
- I continued with my PA work & travel planning while the children were small.
- Now they are a bit more grown up I am still continuing my PA work & travel planning, but this time I am travel planning for my own clients.
