Manchester Airport’s new check-in guide issued
Manchester Airport recently released a helpful “Ultimate Airport Guide” to ensure any upcoming trips go smoothly. Below is a breakdown of what the new guide offers.
Before heading off
Firstly, travellers are encouraged to look at what needs to be done prior to arrival at the airport, highlighting the easy but simple tips to prepare for check-in, security screening and the flight.
This includes wearing easily removable items – such as shoes – and layers for a smoother experience through security, as well to keep warm on the flight.
Travelling to the airport
The guide goes on to list useful considerations to ensure your journey doesn’t stand between you and boarding your flight on time. For example, consider ‘Meet & Greet’ parking, planning your journey – whether it be via public transport or car – or even staying in an on-site airport overnight.
At the airport
Finally, Manchester Airport’s new guide provides exclusive tips on how to avoid queues and other waiting times.
Airport shopping can be done online prior to arrival and collected with the perk of free coffee. Food can also be pre-ordered via the Grab app, or most restaurants will provide an express menu.
Alternatively, the guide highlights other airport services to minimise waiting times and provide a more enjoyable experience, such as access to the Airport Lounge and FastTrack tickets.
Manchester Airport is actively working towards a smoother travel experience for all with its new travel guide. The airport also offers different check-in routes, such as online, express, self-service and even “twilight”, where you may drop your bags the night before.
